I just saw Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ.

Many cried.

It's hard to sit through - and I only have one word for it:

HUMBLING.

i dunno why but life always feels like a constant roller coaster....one friend getting married, another is modeling for a calendar - it's weird, 20's is such a weird time, not a grown-up, not a kid, very aimless.

but - i went to this reunion today - met up with people from a youth newspaper i used to work with - people that formed me as a writer before i was a writer - it was like meeting my younger self - i knew them as a sophomore in high school til college - i've changed so much and owe them so much. basically met the first editor that told me i shud write - if she wasn't there - i wuda been a doctor. weird.

today jet li smiled and waved at me! yay!

it was part of a premier in sf for the videogame he's in - i wanted to interview him, then again, if i did, i'd prolly be drooling! j/k :op

today i mostly slept cuz i had the day off - trying to recover from a sleep deficit

today i found out that there are koi fish the size of me! somehow that made my day.

anyways, Prince was really good, tho i wished he played more classics - no 1999, When Doves Cry, or Kiss - a lil disappointed, but just the fact that i got to see him - :) - now i can say i've seen the greats - Prince, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and James Brown :)

the only thing yucky was - i'm short - and I found out that many of Prince fans are super tall, meaning over 6 feet - so i got trampled on :( only since i visited the mosh pit at a punk concert was it as bad - i got bashed in the head and elbowed in the eye :( - but hehehe, anyone that got near me, i think i wrote on with my red pen - SO WATCH OUT meanies against short azn girls with red pens!

it's going to be a music filled weekend :)

first floetry, then erykah badu, then prince :) - and then hopefully, i get to meet jet li himself - but i get ahead

floetry and erykah badu were AWESOME! floetry made my top ten the last two years - and live - they are incredible - imagine the best of spoken word interspersed with the rest of soul and r&B and u got the group - they don't even breathe! they're that good - WHOOEEEE!

erykah badu was better than last year at the Fillmore - I guess one sings better out of pain - she's 5 months pregnant and i heard she and her man, Common split up - and the father is anyone from Common, the D.O.C. or Andre 3000. she also started to preach on stage a mix of New Age, Hinduism and Christianity. She sang on and on - but I had to bolt, because...

tomorrow - Prince comes into town :)

Happy Valentine's Day - I know it's a commercial holiday - but everybody needs some lovin' :)

if anyone has the telly on today - go to cnn at 5:45 pm and 7:45 pm - my brother is on :) talking about the hottest videogames - and he does quite well i may say - and may have a future in broadcasting :)

today i watched the sweetest movie ever :)

go watch 50 First Dates :) i loved it - just the fact, that he has to make her love her everyday - how romantic is that?

then me and my friend bought so much stuff to celebrate our bosses birthday - spread streamers around his desk - and labeled it FROM THE CRUNKMASTERS!

finally - my bro is on cnn friday - talking about video games - catch him if u can :)

didn't have work today :)

but mom woke me up at 8 am :( not a morning person, but after work last nite, i started dreaming about andre 3000, he was dancing around crazy in my dream

anyways, so i had a nice relaxing day :) went shoe shopping (that always makes things better) and got lime green sneakers! they are super cool - as a reward for a hard weekend...

then had boba with my friend from fifth grade - where we both decided that mid-20s is too confusing and we didn't feel like growing up.

then decided to clean my room - where i found a stash of purses that were lost and lots of junk - i save a lot of crap! people don't usually see my room cuz it's just where i sleep and is decorated with jr high stuff - and boxes of college stuff - and well, stuffed animals - they rule my room - in fact, they take over half my bed - then they get stuck in the crevice between the two mattresses and push the top mattress down - well, they push me off - it's kinda awful really.

then - i got asked to be a judge for the Growing Up Asian contest!!! = after two years of bugging them about it - they finally relented - i guess i'm grown up enuf now :) ehehehhehe

and i watched monster house - the show me and my bro hope to be a part of - they changed this house to a racing house - it was super cool - with a car hood as a table - exhaust pipes coming out to squirt cooking oil - tool chest for a cooking range - and a remote controlled race car lounge chair --- if only my room was sooo cool

crazy weekend

1. super work week - write so much, my stories started getting "hallmarky" - they deleted my line describing norah jones' music as "waking up on a lazy Sunday morning, as the cat climbs onto your tummy hungry" - brain was melting at that point, ok?

2. fashion co-op - found out i suck at selling things - was nervous and overpriced stuff - i think i was a jinx - cuz when i left, my mom made like 80 bucks in an hour!

3. ellen's wedding! only ellen would have a group hug for the last song - and a group breakfast the next day! it was like so high school - she danced in the middle of a circle -and soo aaja convention - all of us were back together :)! can u believe its been 7 years since we all first met! she's the closest one i know that's gotten married - hope things don't change :(

4. grammy's - stupid computer got evil on me - kept saying there was no dial tone - spent more time fiddling with it than watching show - stoooopid computer - never use work computer again :(

but i'm done now - and going to super sleep :)

angry asian man commanded me to party, so i had to oblige.

so we all went to this azn party - and me and this other girl got hit on - mine was tame - u look nice in that hat - hers was lame - So what part of China are you from?

crazy week - so like i'[ll do what i make my sunday school kidz do - here's my ups and downs

+ got a haircut! it's 3 colors - no, i don't look like a clown, like one friend worried - tho it's red, black, and blond - but more subtle - like u have to look close up to tell

+ i read to kids with a San Jose Sharks player! they hugged me :) basically went up to me, and asked to hug me - they didn't hug the shark guy tho - i love hugs :)

- i have a big pimple on my forehead - that even my new bangs can't cover up - my kids said that only evil people have pimples - they were trying to draw a pimple on the mean merchants in Jesus' temple - i hope they didn't see that i had a pimple that day ':(

+ i went to two concerts! yay! josh groban was good, tho his main draw was grannies - ewww, i wudn't want grandpas drooling over me! and switchfoot was real cool - reminds me of another song from camp - there's more to this life!

- forgot ear plugs - slowly going deaf

- making so much jewelry - i'm going blind!!! (you see those flying monkee servants didn't work out - demanded too much bananas - then just pooped on everything)

- bro is renovating house - everything is everywhere - and the paint is stinking up the house - losing smell...

so my conclusion is - i'm losing all my senses - i guess i'll only have touch and taste left - that is if i don't get mad cow disease - not really avoiding beef to well :Op
