Okay, I should blog more often - more wacky tales from the crazy life of marian. i'll try.

truthfully, i've done a lot of soul searching - these last months i've fallen into the black hole of life and have crawled back - with red highlights i might add :Op

but seriously, i'm good. i'm currently waiting for this hot columbian rockstar to call me for a interview. i always complain about stress, but yeah, life is fun if i sit back and reflect.

china was okay - like i said i'm glad we didn't all kill each other - it's not easy traveling with two guys, esp if one if your dad and the other your brother. i seriously didn't get a chance to go shopping - all i got was tea candy and one pair of socks - and that was only b/c my dad wanted tea candy and we bargained the price down - and i needed one more pair of socks b/c u waited until the nite before to pack and forgot stuff - lame huh?

as for taiwan - the sweetest thing was that i got to hang out with my lil coz (we have the same bday!, except she's 6) and my cousin - he just had a baby - when i left, my lil coz was like - i love you big sister :) heehee

my grandfather unfortunately asked me that hated question = when will you get married? my grandmum chimed in and was like - we'll fly to your wedding! they dont' fly anymore, so its a big deal...and my general rule is if you dare to ask, you're not invited, but they're my grandparents so i can't blacklist them. urrr

with craziness going on at work - they're selling the parent company - a lot of people are figuring out their plan b's here - basically, one co-worker boiled down future plans to one question...drumroll...

what are your priorities? work or family?

i was like 50-50, well, maybe 40-60, nono, make that 20-80. i don't know. i don't seriously care about my "clock" - after going to china and seeing the kids there i was like, i can adopt - i mean, they look like me anyways, there won't be too much confusion :op

yeah, so in my soul search lately, i've been going over that question. what to do next. i always thought, isn't this crazy? but that plan b would be medical school or even psychiatry as that survey below pointed out - heck, there's always sick and crazy people out there so i won't be out of the job!

but i'll miss journalism. i'm a nerd for the written word and lately i've enjoyed the writing side that much more. nothing beats seeing your name in print :)

so watch out world...marian's gonna be unleashed - and there's no telling where she's gonna land :)
