i'm in a cafe typing on my laptop :) yeeeee (wallace and gromitt hand motion)

it's my first time working like this out of the office - I'm trying to get out more -the office is so stuffy and uncreative and i need to work out my writing juices a bit.

anywayz, i've had a very trying week - frustrating in a lot of ways. but i guess God was showing me some things.

the biggest one was to let go and trust that He'll make everything okay.

the other was that's all in His timing.

coincidentally (tho in e.asia i learned there is no such thing as coincidence) - well, it happened that while a friend was leaving to work on a book about christianity (she used to believe) that the san jose state asian american christian fellowship worker emailed me, telling me about an event.

and that enabled me to give her a good source right on time

then he asked me to speak to the students on campus sometime

i went over with it with my own fellowship - who happened (no coincidences!) to be thinking of how to reach out to (not just any college) san jose state and was wondering how

so if any of you are free, please come and listen. i'll be sharing my testimony and about life after college as a christian with the sjsu students:

Had a REALLY frustating day - where everything went awry (say awry, it's kind fun to say, just like smock - okay, today was so stressful i'm kinda losing my mind :o/)

i was supposed to go to the beach today (and play hookey b/c i hafta work saturday nite) but i had to be at work :/

had to deal with all these difficult people and then - i got frustrated and then b/c of all the work, i didn't eat til 3! and i like eating :( but then i got a chocolate cookie that made it a lil bit better - and later my friend bought me a drink (okay, not liquor, raspberry iced tea) and then we locked ourselves in an unused room and played videogames - heehee - that topped off the day!

Thankfully I feel better :op whew - that was a crazy week - but now i gave my bro the virus (he says he will beat the marian virus b/c last time his mighty johnny virus infected me then in turn infected a whole bunch of my coworkers, but we will see how powerful my virus is - i mean, i haven't been that sick in i don't know how long)

so last week, i got all these weird calls - i'll sum it up :op

um, i asked the student - do you listen to hip hip? he says yes - then i ask - are you now violent? he giggles and says no - ok, then, i say - then he asks for my number and wants to meet me!

You wrote about this DJ, well, give me his number b/c i want him to MC my show?

(in my mind, since when did i become artists' pimps?) my answer - i'm sorry, i'm not his agent, i can't give you his number

then tactlessly, he asks - then can you cover my show?

then a flurry of calls/emails on this subject - i feel like i'm in High Fidelity (one of my fav movies btw) and guys have reached that moment where they just got through some bad relationship, and now going through their past rolodex and calling me up to see if i'm available - it's a sad compliment - i mean, i just want to be friends (of course that kills the conversation :Op)

just then i thot some weirdo knocked on my house door (it's midnite) but it was the po-po - two of our cars parked outside - their windows were smashed in - along with several of our neighbors' cars - appears some unruly perps went on a joyride with a bat :(

i hope this run of bad luck ends soon

i've been overlooking this blog for a while and i figure it's a lil crazy to leave the last post (my anti-wedding post) there. so i'm back :)

it's been a tough week: (and for once i'm not talking about work!)

SUNDAY:
- on the radio - i wonder if people can tell i have no idea what i'm talking about
- hugged a person with strep throat - and it went downhill from there
- felt a lil dizzy (i think i have negative immunity) and lightheaded - as i went back to my car - subsequently closed the door on my leg - now have a nasty purple bruise on both sides of my knee

MONDAY:
- at this point the days start merging together between all the drugs and naps
- sound like a cross between Minnie Mouse and Darth Vader whose been kicked in the groin
- scared boss with my voice -stayed home

TUESDAY:
- conned dad to call mom to con mom to buy me boba :)
- ahhh, it tastes good even when i'm sick :)
- somehow mustered the strength to write a tv script - even though i can't think straight, man, i hope that script made sense (i mean, i have trouble walking straight!)
- boss couldnt understand my garbly phone message, so stayed home

WEDNESDAY:
- finally up in some kind of normal hours
- woke up early for a creative writing teleconference, and even asked for materials (hopefully i didn't sound scary)
- boss heard me again, told me to stay home
- finally eating normally, tho feenin' for more boba

THURSDAY:
- hopefully won't sound scary so can go to work (getting cabin fever - only so many makeover shows can take)
