i just went out and conquered a fear :/ something happened quite a while back and I went back and tried to make it right - to tell you the truth, it didn't make me fearless, no i just feel dumb now, b/c it cuda happened again - o well, actually two fears down, few more to go
it's been a tough couple of weeks - so i tried burying myself into work again - so now i'm fully buried personally and professionally.
but i just saw TROY - and it was good :) not as good as Gladiator, but worth the 9 bucks kinda good. (tho i saw it for free, i know, i'm a stinker) i took this high schooler who's shadowing me there, i really hope he got home safe, i forgot to ask. truthfully, i had to ask him for directions there :op - not good at the whole kid thing, just killed a plant, b/c i forgot to water it for a weekend. imagine if that was a kid!
other highlights - saw the movie Saved! i recommend it :) and interviewed Jena and Macaulay - they were really cool - learned that Macaulay soaks in his tub for 6-8 hours a day!
other news, went to judge a student film festival in davis with angry azn man - they didn't feed us, but at the end (after azn man's eyeballs froze from the cold and my tummy died from hunger) they offered dinner and put us on a guestlist for a party - man, the good ole college days! too bad we are now old fogeys and had to return back to workland! tho i wonder what a party in davis would be like!
also saw van helsing --- why in the world do vampires reproduce through goopy pods???? and why is frankenstein involved? questions i'm afraid that will never be answered :/
anyways, here's to mondays!
