Ok, admittedly i haven't blogged in a while - and been lazy by taking a whole lotta stupid online tests and pasted my results here.
i'm currently taking a lil break from story writing. I have one due soon, but i'm in a lil writer's block so i'm taking Jill Scott's advice (I interviewed her about her book) and writing about something else.
life has been crazy. i've been working at like 300x my usual speed. and if you know my usual speed, well, i'm super crazy right now.
in a way, anytime i turn into supa supa workaholic, i'm just avoiding dealing with issues, but that's okay, i'm that type. I beat bushes until they are dead.
Anyways, i'm gonna be a model in this chinese historical night. being a feminist, supa short, and well, a real klutz, i'm not exactly model material, so it's kind of funny. let's just say one of my good friends said that the movie Miss Congeniality basically had me to a t. haha.
after college, i had this brief, very very brief, dream of entering in miss chinatown. the feminist in me balked, but the fat kid in me said, why not. but, i chickened out, knowing the klutz in me, would likely make the rest of the contestants fall down like dominoes.
so here i am, attempting to model again. they have me on the runway last, wearing a wedding outfit, long and complete with tassels!!! all i could think when they outfitted me like a Barbie is that boy, they are making a mistake - i am the finale and could make the whole night into a disaster.
the dinner is on the 17th. i'll keep ya posted with the horrid details.

when you win and you get to make your speech, you can tell everybody how you think the whole thing stinks.
true that. unfortunately, i was too wimpy to try it out. i also didn't want to endure the stupid questions like "What is your ideal date like?"
