it's been a crazy sucky year. my friend at work was like how many of your nine lives have you used up now? i was like, too many...i don't know want to count.
last friday nite a drunk driver hit my car, causing it to spin until it landed on an island facing the opposite way, breaking the island in two spots. front window shattered. back two tires flat. the guy on top of being over the legal limit had open containers in the car. (we were thinking, so that's how islands break!!!)
thank God that nobody was hurt. nothing broken.
it was like those bad Passat commercials. we were talking about how many Wendy's chicken nuggets to buy (I was thinking 5) when the crash happened.
with this and my dad (who is thankfully ok, he had Chinese buffet before his last heart scare - what kind of heart patient wants buffet???) and all the drama that's been going on, my life has been a movie, a kind of bad movie where the stupid victim keeps walking into traps.
one of my friends jokes that everytime he calls, something bad happens in my life. i don't think that's it. it's just a lot of things are going on.
a rapper i interviewed today told me something deep, he said, nothing changes in your life until you change. seems like i have to see the glass as half full from now on :)
it's times like these that i bake. i made choco-chip cookies.

yeah, i was in such shock if a witness didn't call the police and notice that the driver was drunk i woulda been like, i can see if both our lights are green...and totally let him go ..
